We contribute to the electrification of the transportation sector with particular focus on ultra-high speed systems made available by the hyperloop concept. We develop innovative solutions targeting energy-efficient and autonomous capsules via operational-driven design of the whole hyperloop system.

Elements of EPFLoop
We are developing testing facilities for running our experiments in both lab and field scale. This includes notably a 120m long round testing track in vacuum, various test benches, and a real-time simulator.
We set up EPFLoop teams consisting of students of both bachelor and master, from various EPFL departments. Their aim is to achieve a specific scientific goal while building engineering skill within a highly collaborative team spirit.
We push the boundaries of the hyperloop sector by developing and implementing of new technologies. The aim is to develop state-of-the-art solutions that overpass barriers of conventional technologies.
